In honor of Don Antonio

El Fogonero was founded in 1996 by three grandsons as a tribute to their grandfather. Its name honors the fogonero, the keeper of the fire, whose patience over the ovens shapes every drop.

Master distiller Don Jesús Correa still guides each batch under NOM 1439, using slow-cooked agave, two distillations in pot stills, and charred American white oak.
